On December 3, 2022 Degli Uberti held the last Good Practice event of the year, dedicated to artistic and molecular perfumery.
The team relied on the expert knowledge of Omniscent Studio and Simone Bongiorno, art director of Monom and Optico.
Artistic perfumery, explained Miriam from Omniscent, consists in "developing fragrances for an audience that wants to stand out from the crowd, wearing something unique, telling their story and emphasizing their style or state of mind through fragrance."
Artistic perfumery aims to use premium materials and evolve the fragrance over time, following a pyramid scale characterized by top, middle and base notes.

Molecular fragrances "are characterized by a minimalist approach to composition and may consist exclusively in synthetic components or a combination of synthetic and natural ingredients. A frequent peculiarity is that they are rather neutral when smelled from the bottle, releasing all their qualities once worn. These are in fact formulated to perfectly match the chemistry of the wearer's skin, pleasantly emphasizing the smell."

Throughout the explanation, Miriam had people try different products including: "Juliette Has a Gun Not a Perfume," "Jusbox Cheeky Smile," "Escentric Molecules Molecule 01," "Optico BSX," "Optico BBG," and "Optico THC."

Finally, Simone explained to the workshop participants the whole phase of creating a molecular perfume, from crafting the base with added alcohol, then mixed through magnetic induction, to the final phase of assembling the perfume, having the participants choose their favorite molecules, thus packaging a 10 ml bottle of custom perfume to take home.

Here is a small recap of what happened:
