A wool knit from the Shetland Islands, north of Scotland. British sheep are raised in cold and harsh winter environments, so their wool is elastic and durable. Shetland wool is grown in a breeding environment where seaweed is eaten as a supplementary food, so its softness and luster among British wool characterize it. Knitted with 5 gauges to create a rough atmosphere.
